I doubt it's the vents. I have vents and I don't get water into the engine, the heat from the engine is enough to vaporize the water before it even gets close. It's probably the wiring doing something weird.

Yeah thats what I thought too, but IDK if it was getting too wet under there.

But yes, It was the wiring in the trunk. Fixed it for now, but I'm changing all that wiring this weekend if the weather gets better.

Yeah I got cha. It was stupid of me to leave the wires outside of the car, but again, I didn't work on my car much back then. Now I'm getting more into it :-)
