Would it make that much of a difference if I was NA? I do plan on going turbo soon....

have a resonator welded in before the muffler. Did the downpipe get rid of the stock cat?

I would say resonator... a big one.... but if you just want a silencer you can remove... I dunno.

Do you have a test pipe? If so, put a cat in instead to quiet it up.

whatever piping you want, + apex-i world sport muffler.

this is what i run, all stock except for 2.25 piping from the cat back, with a world sport welded onto the rear. looks great, and is SILENT. you can sneak up on people, like a ninja. you actually have to pay attention to hear it with your windows down, and still sounds quietly satisfying at wot.

dude, i said it was stock. just exhaust.

and +1 to lancerman, you dont drive a car boosting over a bar. put your cat back on. all it does is annoy other people driving around you and murder the environment. it also puts you at risk for a ticket, so use whatever analogy you want.

Well when I had the RRM header and RRM test pipe, my car sounded stupid. So loud and super ricey. Since then I put the cat back on and another resonator. Its still a little loud for my taste.

Currently, I have the following configuration:

Kamikaze header -> Kamikaze downpipe -> Magnaflow high flow cat -> 2.25" piping -> Magnaflow muffler

Yes, my car was super quiet with just the stock header to stock cats, and 2.25" piping -> Magnaflow muffler.

Realistically with that setup a quiet exhaust won't be easy unless you're willing to sacrifice a lot of power for it.

apexi n1 mufflers are loud but it doesnt sound bad with a silencer. it also brings back the tq.

right now im using a greddy muffler w/ 2.25 custom piping and a resonator. my intake is louder than my exhaust.

Where did you get the Greddy muffler from? Seems like no ones sells them separately.
