Question Most quiet muffler with silencer?????

Hi,

So, I tried searching with no luck in what I wanted to find. Today, Seattle PD decided to give me a ticket for my "louder than stock" exhaust. Yes, my exhaust is pretty loud, since I've added the Kamikaze header and downpipe. Currently, I have this Magnaflow muffer:

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=812

What I would like to get is just a replacement muffler with a silencer, without adding any resonators....(I'd like to try) Does anyone have any recommendations for mufflers that are really quiet when the silencer is in??? I'd rather not get pulled over by anymore cops for sumthin stupid like this.

I believe Magnaflow, Apexi, and Greddy have mufflers with silencers, but I don't know how quiet they really are.

THANKS!!!

If you want really quite go back to stock. Any aftermarket exhaust will be louder than this and if you're just going to stuff a silencer in, what's the point?

Try getting a larger magnaflow, that might quiet it down a bit.

I would like to get a muffler with a silencer so I have the option to take it out when I go to the track or wherever.

I don't care so much about performance on the street, as I don't street race people.

The evo2 is loud with a header and other mods, trust me I have it. The Ti-C will be considerably louder but I think it comes with a silencer which the evo2 doesn't have and can't use as far as I know.

I'm just looking for a universal muffler w/ a silencer, but one that's good quality, of course....(i.e. no ebay). The Greddy site seems to only show systems, and not universal mufflers. They do sell them individually, right?

Not sure, RRM sold some a while ago but I think those were the result of damaged systems.

Not sure what it's like with the silencer in but it's pretty loud without it. Oh and to be a grammar ****, "most quiet" isn't correct, it's "quietest".

I was using the other form of the superlative, as stated by the University of Calgary/ EnglishClub.com, for example, which is the same as "quietest":

"Most quiet" just sounds weird. Also, I know how poor the english is around here, so I wouldn't use the U of C as a reference. Generally speaking us philostines don't use proper english.
