2008 Lancer GTS Injen Cold Air Intake

Just to give people a heads up, Injen stated to me via email that they have a two piece cold air intake that will be available soon for the 08 Lancer. They said it uses the new Mega Ram Technology they have. Basically it makes maximum gains over other intakes without the technology and they keep the air/fuel ratio the same as factory to help avoid any warranty issues. Only thing they said was that the prototype is done and it should be in production soon. I am in no way trying to take anything away from other companies, especially RRM, but the set up sounded really cool and just wanted to let everyone know. I'm holding off on getting a intake until I see more then one companies findings and gains. Injen also stated they have a exhaust that is ready for production also.

Did you get this email after signing up for updates for the Lancer specifically or anything? Is there something on their website for our car yet? Link?

Nothing on the website from them, I just emailed them to ask if there was anything for the 08 Lancer yet. Their customer service came back and said there is a 2 piece cold air and exhaust prototype that is tested and ready for production, date of production is unknown. They did provide this link though that explains the Mega Ram Technology.

Anything with MEGA and RAM in the same name automatically means you will get +50 HP. Add the stickers and you will feel an extra 3

Sounds like they are putting alot into it and it will be the first cold air so far. The guy I talked to said he would keep me in the loop of things and would send me the specs, looks, gains, etc as soon as they are allowed to. He wasn't able to since it was a prototype, probably didn't want anyone copying it. I'll let everyone know what else I find out on other companies. I did find out that AEM has nothing in the works right now for the 08 Lancer. But I got some emails into other companies and what not, so I'll post if I find more. I'm just ready to start getting this Lancer juiced up.

50 hp from a CAI?

this is not a turbo pplz.

You'd be lucky if u get 10hp difference from a CAI

Some CAI setups dont add any performance differences

Dont believe FORZA two on the 360 lol 32hp from a CAI

Thank you Serious for stating the obvious

Sometimes I think forums needs a font style like italics or bold that means sarcasm. I think about 75% of what I say would be in that font style

leomon, I base everything I say here off of video game racing! When I finish putting parts in my lancer, it will be up to like ~700 HP and will be rated as a Super class car. For realz.

All I know is that when I go to Laguna Seca next month I am turning off damage simulation so I can hit the walls and not have to worry about anything
