I know nothing about nothing, expect I want a pretty car with a nice sound!!
if all you are after is a nice sound and not performance you may not want to get a new header, it WILL change the pitch of your exhaust to a slightly higher pitch. when my car is colder it sounds much more buzz-y and rice-y, a resonator would fix the problem, but it doesn't bother me THAT much.
i have two videos on youtube of my car, i have a dynomax muffler. my username there is "uatilla" without the quotes.

I have an EBAY Catback (Don't kill me, lol) and it sounds pretty good, I recently added header (which I might also add, I had a question about it, and had like one guy help me....and no one else, not to mooch off this chicks thread or anything, lol) and the car is sounding really deep, cost me nearly 200 dollars, which comes across as a cheap exhaust IMO, but I was short on cash, and I liked it, but you seem to have ur mind set, so go with it, if you don't like....well, change it
as for the rest of the guys, you guys are hilarious, I'm never bringing my g/f around any of you, she wrenches, and knows her ****, and being tuners, we all know that this is a straight rod raiser with dudes, lol
