Hey guys, I think my slump has continued on! Yes, again. For some reason, I noticed when I drive, there is a low pitched whistle/hiss that comes from under hood. When I slow down at a light it goes away and becomes very faint. Then it starts back up when I continue driving. I have no engine mods done, and all accessories were off. I don't know how long this has been going on, or whether this is normal or not, but I just recognized it this evening. Anyone have any guesses on what this may be and a resolution, or does this need to be taken to the dealer? My car is a 2002 has 18,000 miles, and is an automatic.

 

Check the vaccuum hose that runs from your intake tube to your valve cover...it might be cracked or loose.

 

Don't you have an aftermarket alternator though?
