Fuel Pressure: Please Help!

You have your fuel pressure sender in the wrong spot. Fuel pressure is only built before the regulator on the rail. After the regulator the pressure drops substantially as it returns to the tank. Splice into the fuel feed line before it hits the rail. Easy mistake.

You could go to Home Depot and get a 3/8" T-fitting, two 3/8" barb fittings and a 3/8" to 1/8" reducer and there you go. Or you can get this:

Fuel pressure gauge adapter

All you do is cut the rubber fuel line that goes into the fuel rail and tee into it for a reading. You can mount a 1/8" fuel pressure gauge right there or mount your 1/8" fuel pressure sender there that will feed the reading to your fuel pressure gauge.

Yes I'm sure. I've had a fuel pressure sender for the last year on my fuel line.
