Cool Fuel Pressure: Please Help!

Hey guys! Kungfu here and i need some help from a few good men.

Here's whats been happening. I initially bought a kit used and i installed it only to realize within two weeks that my turbo was on its way out. So i had it sent away to Gpopshop.com who did a FANTASTIC job! Now i am reinstalling the turbo and up-pipe etc that i had to take of as this is my DD.

I had ordered the prosport boost, oil pressure, and fuel pressure gauges and just installed them two days ago. Now i of course have the vortech 12-1 fmu and heres what i did to install my pressure regulator for fuel.

STOCK FPR----Brass T fitting and sensor----inlet on front of FMU----bottom port on FMU----back to return line i think.

So the sensor is inbetween the stock fpr and the fmu.

TWO QUESTIONS, when i get answers i will post pics and pretty cool vids i have.

1. Is this the place i should have my fuel pressure sensor in order to read the changes the FMU makes so that i know my fuel pressure when im boosting. (ie when the pressure is upped due to psi increase)

2. My fuel pressure reads at about 20-24 psi always. Is this normal? i heard our stock FP is 38 psi then goes up to 43 or so, if so why is mine low.

There are no leaks i fixxed em all i am using hose clamps and they are all tight with new hoses.

EDIT: VIDEO OF FUEL PRESSURE.

thanks for any help!

EDIT: pictures of hook up, please excuse red zip ties it's all i had left from pack....

Sorry, but the only thing I can add is that normal fuel pressure should be around 38...and when at WOT, around 42. Do you have a 255 fuel pump?

fuel pump is not back in yet. Why is my car reading at 20psi? does the fmu lower ur fuel pressure until it reads boost? also would the fact that i have the magnum fuel rail effect this? would it be safer to run the stock rail till i upgrade injectors?

^That wouldn't hurt to give it a try! Just think...larger bore, less pressure right? At least that's what I'm thinking. I'd flip it back for the time being as see what happens.

My aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator sits around 22-25 psi at idle with vacuum applied.
It reads 38 with no vacuum applied, at idle.

Try removing the vaccum line from the FMU with car running and see if a change is seen. Is it reading 20 psi ALL the time(WOT) or just at idle.

its reading at around 20 psi ALL the time, it fluctuates 2-3 psi though randomly. What do u mean when vac is supplyed? isnt it supplied always at idle. Mine is at -20ish at idle, then when i push the gas it gets close to zero at wot.

Im not sure what is normal readins so im trying to figure it out!
