I just installed my Injen CAI yesterday, and right after i let the engine run a lil, i drove it to work and noticed a popping feeling and sound comming from the gas pedal when i let go of it. It doesnt happen all the time, bout half the time, and it's a real noticable feeling. Did I install something wrong?I know i put the MAS on upside down but I read thats ok. Or is it supposed to do that or something?

 

does no1 else have this problem or is it more of an uncomfort than a serious problem?

 

Is it the pedal itself making the noise?

 

run a search, i think this has actually been posted on before.

the popping noise is completely normal, and actually exists WITHOUT the CAI, it's just that with the CAI installed, you can hear (and thus feel, by additional sensory magnification) the occurance more clearly.

after a while, you'll get to love the noise.

 

yeah, its the pedal cuz i can feel it in my foot when i let go of the gas
