cheap mods

cheap mods

Made my own sri cost me 66.00 canadian. painted valve cover and heat sheild two cans of spray paint and an afternoon in the garage.

That's exactly the kind of intake I was going to make. I just ran out of motivation thanks to wanting to autocross in stock class. Taking the intake on and off every other week seemed like a big pain in the butt to me. Any ways, it looks really nice. You may want to paint that with high temp paint for both effect, and extra heat protection. How about you do a write up with dimensions and all instructions so everyone else can make one? (understandable if you want to keep it to yourself because you did a hell of a job on it)

The paint is Duplicolor I got it at Canadian Tire they have 4 colors

It is good for 800f don't do the exhaust heat shield as it will change color.

regular plexiglass won't hold up to the heat of ur engine bay.
