There you go.

I am personally just going to leave my exhaust stock, I want to drive it for a year, see what happens, and by that time there will be enough products out there to make an informed decision, greddy and apexi both have some very nice quiet mufflers for those of us who are looking for more of a refined sound, rather than a can of bees coming down the street. If I have learned anything, dont be in a hurry, do things right, even if it costs a little more money

I see Ingen, Greddy, Apexi, and Works are making an exhaust. But everytime I shoot them an e-mail they "The release is TBA". I'm impatient, I at least want to know an estimated date. So at least I know what to look out for. I don't know what I'm gonna do. Maybe I'll wait and see what comes out. Maybe the Christmas season will bring some more parts out. I hate waiting....

Special, I was the one who donated the car for Greddy to make their exhaust. They will be letting me know when its ready so if you want I can let you know as well.

I'm also doing a customized exhaust, hope to have it done soon though. I got a really good deal, so I'm just waiting for the mechanic to give me an EST. and then all goes good from there. I'll have pics up soon, maybe by the end of this week, or early next week (hopefully)

Its your car, your sound, your unique look. See what makes sense to you.
My vote is on a Borla, unique tone that isnt over kill, and cant be copied.

But with all the buz and rumors swirling, its better to wait till September when the first Cat Backs start rolling off production lines

From what I heard, I believe that the '08 already comes with a cat back, reason why RRM only made an axle back. Why spend so much money on a full cat back, when our car already has one? To each his own I suppose.

From what I remember of useful information on the boards, the cat is located at the rear axle, so an axle back technically is a cat back. But I may have just made that up...but I am pretty sure its correct

in either case, its best to wait and see what the offerings are. the thing about these companies is that they find ways to innovate and think outside the box.

lets see what these tech boys at INJEN, GREDDY, etc come up with.

if you have looked under your car the cat is right after the header(manifold), then you have like two resonators in line and then the 20 lb muffler. has anyone said that a full custom exhaust would set off CEL, i am thinking as long as you have your O2 sensors it would be fine but i am no expert on this engine.

i am waiting on some funds to buy 2 1/2 in piping from the cat back into a borla muffler and then maybe into a 3 1/2 tip, i just hope i dont set off the CEL.
