Installed Nitrous
dry or wet kit?
and with the purge cloud, it does matter the temp of the nitrous and the temp of the ambient air your purging into
deffinately let us know how your car reacts.. did you step your plugs down a heat range?... I've got an itch for a 100hp direct inject wet kit with an rpm controller.. but it'll be a bit for me.

umm if you touched the fuel system at all ... it's not a dry kit
dry kits you only inject nitrous not nitrous and fuel.. and rely on the vehicles 02 to make the fuel corrections for the nitrous being added
sounds like you've got a single fogger wet system.. which would be the lowest kit I would recommend to anyone (I stay far far far away from dry kits.. they are what give nitrous a bad reputation... that and silly people)

Yeah if you have a dry kit, there is no reason you should even touch a fuel line.
I would actually never ever install a dry kit on any car. It throws off your air fuel ratio and you will run super lean when you spray. This makes it super hard to tune and very dangerous for your motor.
I really dont see your car lasting more than a few years, but good luck anyways. Maybe these new lancers can hold up.

if you don't think the lancers engine will hold up to a 50hp nitrous shot... stay the hell away from a turbo
BTW.. efi engine will compensate for a dry kit.. but much more then 50-60hp is starting to really push it (this is for 4cyls ofcourse)
I can 100% garuntee that I can make the same hp gains with nitrous just as safely as any of you can out there with a reputable turbo kit. and I'm willing to bet that my engine will also last longer on the simple basis that I can turn mine completely off and still drive as aggressively as I want too.
hmmm maybe I should make a nitrous 101 thread LOL .. we can get all the nitrous myths and legend squished and the real facts brought to life...
it still boggles me that people will gladly bolt up 100+hp worth of turbo kit.. but think a 50hp nitrous kit is gonna kill an engine

Um no it wont. If you didnt know its N"O"2 The "o" is oxygen. That means when you spray, you are putting in more air than your car thinks and therfore running lean.
And YES turbo kits are way safer than any dry kit ever invented. Maybe you should do a little research before you make a thread about this subject.

What was that about research?

. i guess you could to make run even better.
