okay... when you spray yes you are putting more oxygen in .. in which case you have to add fuel.. your correct..

now theres this little sensor in the exhuast ... it's called an o2 sensor, it measures the exhuast of lean or rich conditions and shifts the fuel maps within the ecu to compensate

research???.. I'm a auto tech, I do this on a daily basis... that o2 sensor is the sole reason dry kits work!

on that note as I said wayyyy before I HATE dry kits

and yes turbo kits are safer then dry.... but I didn't say dry I said a kit... maybe I wasn't clear enough I ment a direct port wet kit ...

yes the o2 sensor will compensate....but the problem is that you have to run in that lean condition until it does. The knock sensor should also help...in that it will pull timing if it senses any.

youre alot safer with a wet kit, but a tune for the exact size fuel jet would be ideal.

Also turbos are incredibly safe on a stock motor with a good tune. Ive seen peices of turds run high boost with a great tune. Most people buy bolt on kits that are tune for the masses but truth is every ones car is a bit different in mods so they drive like idiots without knowing their A/F cause they trust the base tune that was included in kit and they also use cheap electric A/F meters instead of widebands.

Your car is only as safe as its tune, but your setup should be fine. Id like to see some quarter mile times Im guessing low 14's with a 50 shot, would like to see some lower times though, keep us posted

well give it a month and il have 1/4 mile video running a 50 wet shot on my 08.

im stunned at the fact that you managed to run a 75 dry shot and not do anything to it. but then again, the comment about the fuel line kinda threw that one out the window. I wouldnt touch a dry kit, ever. Dont trust em at all

Nitrous is way worse for a motor than a turbo, especially a dry kit. You car cannot compensate for that much of an increase stock, your injectors can only add so much fuel (this is why most good turbo kits replace the pump, injectors or the FMU). Yes the O2 sensor can trigger the ECU to add more fuel but it can only do so much. I also highly doubt you're going to turn a 16 second car into a low 14 by just adding some nitrous.
