I know on my Civic (1.6L) the Helms manual says 200 per the factory...but would the 2.0L make that # higher or lower?

Free bump for someone that has a repair manual.

Any of this it? I'm on AllData under Engine Pressure Specifications...

Compression pressure (200 r/min) Standard value 1,618 kPa
Limit Minimum 1,176 kPa
Compression pressure difference of all cylinder Limit 98 kPa
Curb idle speed Standard value 700 +/- 100 r/min

If that's the wrong data, I'm sorry. I don't know exactly how to find Leak Down numbers unless it flat out says "A leak down test should show results of..."

Again, I have no clue. I went to "engine specifications" and this was all I saw. I just posted it hoping that it would be what you need.

There's not really a set pressure level to do a leakdown test. Also, at least a tiny bit of air will always get past the rings, so a cylinder will never hold air for any length of time. The purpose of a leakdown test is really to deduce why a cylinder isn't holding pressure. So, first off you want to do a normal compression test. Then, if you find a cylinder is running low compression, you do a leakdown test to figure out where it's leaking.

For a 20-30,000 mile engine from an Evo, Porsche, Mercedes, you should be in the 3-7% range. 10 and above is suspicious and especially if 3 cylinders are at say 4% and the fourth is at 10.

Yeah, I was just about to add in that a 5% loss is typical, thanks

I will get my leak down results today. And since I have 11.0:1 pistons, I just wanted to compare the numbers.
