RRM Headers & noise?

Anyone using the road race header? How much louder is this going to make my lancer? I don't want the to be heard coming from 6 blocks away...any input appreciated.

also, is it smarter to start with the headers and then get the cat-back exhaust or exhaust first?

The material they use is thicker than Kamikaze, so it's probably your best bet if your looking at buying a header that isn't too loud.

I don't know about the RPW one though.

Adds noise, but not too bad. Mostly, sound depends on the whole system.

Start with either one. Doesn't matter, they both add a little bit of power. It's not like one add 100hp and the other adds 1hp.

exhaust and headers pretty much work hand in hand so if you get just one without the other you will see gains but its when you sombine the mods together that you see more gains as they work with one another. As far as the sound level for headers with stock exhaust it sounds a bit louder almost as if you had a hole in your muffler but its not a great difference(This is at WOT not at idle).

i had already done my exhaust so when i put the header on i noticed more of a change in pitch than volume.
