there is already forged pistons avaliable for the 08 lancer im waiting until 35k though to do pistons.

i emailed them to see if they had 08 lancer parts and they replied they have pistons. email them and ask how to get.

THAT IS LAME. I am 110% sure they don't have 08 pistons.

yea who knows but they said they did, but i havent seen them. i replied back that i didnt need pistons yet, and they said why wait we have them. that was a few months ago i asked. excact response

Nothing i know of yet except pistons and connecting rods.

Although I highly doubt they have them, especially a few months ago I might email them and ask what the compression ratio and other specs are on them......

I would really hate to see someone tear their engine down to find out these pistons DON'T fit. Trust Rob. He is more up on this market than most of us. If he hasn't heard of any pistons, its probably true.

maybe they assume the 4G63 pistons are the same size as the 4b11 or they were simply mistaken.....

well since its a "world" engine would pistons from a caliber work? they might have forged pistons for those and thats why they said that

according to mitsu, the 4b11 2.0 is just the dodge 2.4 with extra iron sleevng to lower it's displacement and strengthen it. this however means that the pistons would be different diameters between the 2.4 and 2.0, doesn't it? they won't fit if that is the case.

why wouldn't they have pistons?
they have pretty much any part for any import car you could possibly want.

they fabricate pistons. all they need is the dimensions.

as most of the pistons they sell are listed by dimension in stead of make/model, i'm sure they do have pistons that will fit the 08. then again, i also don't know anything about pistons.
