The issue here is the camshaft is a one size fits all cam. The issue with most lancer modders is we are feel like we are limited to certain products when in fact we are not. Mostly people are just to lazy to research it or take the time to source alternative sources. A cam i would do would be of my own spec or perhaps from another users setup. Send in specs. and voila a cam for >200$ that is specific for your needs.
I feel like perhaps you gain 4% with a cam such as this and thats at best.

I'm pretty sure you dont have to for Stage 1. That's partly the reason why everyone is asking whether it's worth it.

after u installed ur can how are your brakes? the reason i ask is because the brake vacuum booster runs off the manifold vacuum and the cams valve overlap is a bit longer which reduces manifold vacuum, in turn increases brake effort due to less vacuum assist. i dont think this cam should be too extreme to be noticeable but im just wondering because i ordered mine and it should be here soon.
