No Exhaust

I take my car to the drag strip alot and i was wanting a way to get a few more horses and i was thinking of taking the exhaust off right behind the cat. Then put it back on after leaving the strip. But I have heard that you can loose to much back presure and it can mess up the engine. So I was wondering if anyone has any info or experience is this subject.

My knowledge agrees with that. Don't do it. Buy an exhaust. RRM has a good one, good price, definitely make more power too.:headbng2:
