apexi n1
apexi n1
i was wondering if the apexi n1 universal exhaust would be pretty good for my gts or should i wait for the one meant for my car if not and the universal is okay what size inlet and outlet do i have
Depends on how you define "good for your car." If you put it on with some custom piping, you'll likely lose some lowend torque and gain highend horsepower. Is that what you're going for?
As for piping, I don't know off the top of my head. Hop under the car, measure the exhaust piping; that'll be the inlet that you want. Probably somewhere around 1.5" to 2". As for outlet, that's going to be whatever you like (the outlet is the exhaust tip).

If you're looking for a bit of both, you might want something premade. I know Rob from RRM specifically said that he designed the RRM axleback to keep both torque AND horsepower. That might be the best choice if you want to keep it all.
I think RRM makes a good product.
But I think that you need to pick what's best for you. RRM uses a Magnaflow muffler. You're looking at Apex'i N1, which is a very different muffler. Apex'i is going to be louder, but have different power characteristics than the RRM.
In the end, pick what you like best.
