Question watch this video

ever since i cleaned my EGR valve out, my intake has been louder. I can hear the constant "woosh" of air much louder now.

I dunno if its cos i need to recharge the filter or something. I did clean everything with throttle body cleaner, also i messed with the Idle screw a little to get it set at a nice number (700rpm)

So please watch this video and tell me what you think. I put the camera next to the filter so you can hear it, and i also put it next to my pulleys so you can hear all the other cool sounds a lancer engine makes

(my car is running amazing by the way, with no obvious problems, also no CEL)

also a pic of my engine bay
mods: intake, testpipe, FPR, engine damper, filled front mount

btw, it sounds a lot louder on this video than it does in person. the volume in real life is that of then you turn off the ignition and the intake makes the usual "woosh" sound. Except this is constant

also just to clarify. the sound is coming from the filter. My vac gauge is reading between 20-25 at idle

update: removed intake, checked everything, reinstalled it, also tried a new filter. Problem is still there.

also noticed a little more oil coming back from the valve cover line than usual. But other than that, everything looks normal

had a theory, tell me what you think.

I'm thinking that maybe the butterfly valve isn't sitting properly or something, or it isn't opened/closed like it should be at idle, Cos i adjusted the idle screw.

ok so i adjusted the idle screw. Same sound even when i lowered the rpm's to below 500, although it was a lot quieter.

i also retook a video with some lighting. Also you can hear the clicking sound at the end when i kill the engine. Keep in mind that the camera makes the intake sound waaay louder than it really is
