I'm not sure if what I'm saying is correct but the RRM exhaust looks like it has less bends in the pipe. Could this restrict the exhaust gases more?

Answers to questions:

RPMs: Idle - ~700 and rev to ~ 3000

No silencer

It is not coming out at a 45 degree angle, more like 10 degrees. Also, I got this for free with them installing it for free. The last thing Im going to do is be a ***** to Greddy and ***** about the freaking ANGLE

I have never seen the bends under the car for the RRM exhaust, you should ask Greddy and RRM for their opinions.

Too quiet!

You gotta do a rev up to 6k for us. Maybe some in-car footage as well.

The exhaust is posted on Greddy's website. Says that it is $420. I can't wait to get the christmas bills payed off so I can finally get an exhaust.

+1

Sounds like you were trying to keep it quiet...maybe trying to not wake someone up? It sounds nice, like I expected, it's just too quiet.

Does anyone know of an online dealer that carries it? There is no mention of an Edmonton dealer on Greddy's website.

Yeah....I did the video in my garage with the door open. I didnt want the noise shooting out and bouncing around the buildings in my complex.

I wont get a chance to do a new video until next week. Once I get some drive bys I will post them.

restriction can be important in some cases, it really depends on what your goal is. using a straight thru muffler is designed not to restrict flow, but pipes can be configured in away to optimize flow and provide proper back pressure. When it comes to custom jobs its a crap shoot and your forced to differ to the jugdment of the shop boys. Pipe diamiter changes also effect flow.

As a random example, a 45 ' bend can be countered by a diameter change. the worst thing you can do is use a bend pipe turn. instead of using mandrel bends. bend pipe completely rape flow and disrupt everything.
