Other CAI?
I thought CAIs are more efficient for more hp than SRIs?
Idk, thats what I always thought. Guess not though...
Just get an exhaust and make it sound ricey since you like big bangs.
i guess i like the sounds of an engine better. theres nothin like drivin a 92 vette at wot on a country road and just hearin the engine sing as i go faster and faster
HEY! your the first ive seen here wit a lancer in chicago lmao.

LMAO! Finally someone who knows Chi Town can also be Chicago.
Actually I live in Champaign, two hours down south from ya.
CAI generally adds to top-end power. Since most cars make their peak HP number at/near redline, the CAI seems to "make more power." It generally gives the same gains as an SRI, but in a different place.
The SRI usually gives extra power in the lowend (because the car gets more air and faster immediately. On a CAI, you have to wait for the air to be sucked through the tube.). You gain the same amount of power, but you feel it as lowend torque rather than topend HP.
Does that make sense? I always worry that I'm going over people's head because I already know what I mean.
so...in other words, there isnt much difference on what we get, between the CAI or SRI? Just the place where we want the most power at from the intake?...if thats the case then i am going to get the SRI. Should i get the RRM SRI or wait?

Get whatever you like! I had the RRM SRI on my car and I think it's a perfectly good intake.
Oh well.
