So I was watching the latest episode of Fifth Gear and they were driving the 08 lancer. However, I noticed they said the regular lancer there comes with leather heated seats, electronic controlled breaks, stability control AND a 2.0L Turbo Diesel engine. Has anyone else seen this?

Also, could we be seeing some swaps in the future? Diesel is more fuel efficient... and although a swap would not be road legal...

Any thoughts?

 

With diesel being $4+/gal, I don't know if I'd want one!

 

i would be sooo happy if they made a turbo diesel engine that would swap nicely into our lancers. I would defiantly get one if I had the finances.

 

Even if you got 228 TQ and 44 Miles per gallon?
