My car is overheating..
I don't work for a dealership. I do have some insiders at a dealership that allow me "access" to certain things. As for my knowledge, I've been wrenching for about 8 years now. 5 of those years have been on my '03 OZ, so I know Lancers pretty well inside and out. I've been on these boards just as long so I've absorbed lots of years of information from some of the best on here as well as doing tons of my own research on our Lancers.
Enough about me. Any updates to the overheating situation?

Well heres the deal.
The car is overheating with 5 minutes of getting to temp. Especially when its hot and i am stopped, then again, if i am going it sometimes goes above temp as well.
the fans have been seen in action. both blowing air from the outside into the bay. This is the correct orrientation right?
i have a 1500 cfm main fan and a 600cfm secondary.
i recently drained the coolant and put new stuff in at 65/35 water.
still happening.
could it be thermostat? could it be water pump?? how can i tell.
