Greddy Ti-C Exhaust problem

hey guys,

i recently purchased a Greddy Ti-C exhaust, at first, it was amazing. i absolutely loved it. However, recently, i've been hearing some raspy noises while i accelerate. my throttle response is a little weaker than before. the sound occurs randomly.

i am thinking it is a leak somewhere. perhaps at the bolt on point. can it be anything else?

let me know asap guys!

you can check the junction point where you bolted it on, it should be ok. I think there is also a gasket in there (cant remember) if there is then its wise to replace it when you do the upgrade if your over 10,000 km.

As for the rasp, this will have to do with the diameter size piping used and canister configuration. You may potentially lose low end TQ with the trade off of getting mid to peak performance gain. It will be feel different. Only real way to know is to dyno it. let me know if you want to explore that option.

hmm quick question: I thought there wasn't a gasket on the lancer (well I didn't have one when I took off my stock and put RRMs).

Check for exhaust leak, then come back and post if you need more help. I'd bet it's leaking somewhere.
