Idles keeps going higher and higher

I hope this has not been posted before I did do a search but couldnt find any thing on the rpms going while idling. Most started high then went down. My 05 runs fine for the first 5 min of normal driving and after that it just keeps going higher from 1000 to 1500. It does this all the way up to 4000 rpms. I have no check engine light on. My car is stock besides the cold air intake.

thanks.

^^x2. Unhook your battery and let it sit for about 5 minutes or so, then reconnect it. I had a couple problems with my Celica after a CAI install and that fixed it

If that doesn't work, check for air leaks, clean the TB and make sure the throttle cable isn't touching the valve cover.

If all the above fails replace the IAC valve. But I'm guessing disconnecting the battery will fix it.
