cheap ground wire kit on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2428399134

these kits are only $39 with shipping. anyone have any input? are they supposed to have a metal thing to connect them all together? would it be possible to use an evo kit on a es/ls/oz lancer?

Thanx for the info everyone. Hopefully i can buy one next payday.

Looks pretty decent to me. All these kits are are a bunch of ground wires that you could easily purchase at any audio store and build yourself. The evo one should fit just fine, b/c with the sun (i think that is the name) they just come in different universal sizes and the evo and lancer both use a type-S. However it costs around $115 most places. I would say for the price you probably couldn't go wrong. The only place you could really get screwed is if it wasn't the lengths that it claims to be.

yeah why not, Kareem made his own grounding kit for like $20, as said above it's basically a bunch of wires.

in the thread he actually admitted it was closer to $30 plus he had to do the soldering. i don't have any soldering equipment or know how to solder, so $39 seems really inexpensive compared to what other places are charging.

When making a homemade kit what all do you ground? I am wanting to do this but am unclear as to the exact items that may need a better ground. Thanks in advance.

ground the block, trans, head, chassis, - the kits usually have 5 gounds to run. the four I mentioned are the most important. It really doesnt matter if you pay 115 bucks at the speed shop or 30 on ebay, There is nothing to these kits except some wires and sometimes an extra post to hook up components neater.
