Injen Catback Exhaust only for Cali models?

I just ordered my SES exhaust from SpeedCorps, and Jonathon over there told me that this exhaust was made for the Cali lancers and that without modding, it wouldn't fit other models.

Is there any other Catback exhaust systems out there?? I know MagnaFlow is making one, but God knows when that will come out....they've been saying it for months...

things to keep in mind.
on the 08 Lancer, catback = axleback. The nearest flange to the cat converter is by the rear axle. So the aftermarket exhausts connect there.

There are currently no other headerback exhausts available, although there is a company working on one that should be ready soon for the FED lancers (top secret)

The magnaflow exhaust is only gonna be an axle-back/cat-back. not a full headerback like the Injen SES for the cali models

Would there be a noticeable difference though between say the Works axleback and a full headerback? I figured that the AB exhausts were for noise mostly with little to no performance gains.

There are a few people around here that have it, I havent seen any complaints so im guessing it works well enough.
There will be some gains from just an axleback. If your Lancer isn't cali emissions spec, the stock exhaust is decently free-flowing, So the removal of that giant, restrictive, stock muffler setup can actually help.

if u plan on getting a header.. Evolve said his exhaust got really loud/raspy so he switched to RRM exhaust.. but if ur not planning on doing a header install then it sounds great
