Cryo2??

Ok, I searched this and nothing came up, so I have to ask..... Has anybody heard about this thing, or tried it?

http://www.designengineering.com/

It is supposed to cool the air that goes into your intake manifold by using CO2. It almost sounds kinda workable, but I'm skeptical about spending that much cash on a scam.

The good thing is that it won't void your warrantee (I dont' think), cause it's not injecting anything into your engine (like nitrous). Anyways, let me know what you guys think....

there isnt much info on that site about it, it sounds logical, but for our cars you would probably have to relocate the battery to get that extra tube in there because you would want to put that before the MAS, so that the MAs knows to pump more fuel into the dense air... its pretty similar to the Zex stuff that does the n-tercooler sprayer or whatnot.. looks more like this product would be a trial and error thing...

The only problem would be having to refill the tank frequently. Just go for a cold air from AEM or otherwise, and save money down the road.

Check out DSM tuners.... i know alot of the guys are using systems like this but its to cool the intercoolers and not the intake...Same principal..but Im expecting the NA guys wont get as much out of it as the turbo'd evo or dsm's.

I was thinking about setting one of these up to the water spray switch and having it blow a cold co2 charge against my intercooler....

Anyways let us know if you do buy it.

I think that's to spray on an intercooler in a turbo car. Not positive, but I've seen a few CO2 kits for that

This company makes them to cool the intercooler, cool the fuel pump, and to run inline with your air intake. It is supposed to be mounted directly before the MAS. I wish there were some reviews of it, cause it's a lot of money if it sucks!
