Well Up to August 6 I had my No2 installed and my engine is still in running condition. I will say this my car does not run smoothly anymore. Now I am confused because people say that they blew up their engine once twice and so on running No2 how and why. I had run it up to 150hp no more no less and the engine is still running. I noticed that my transmission is sliping correct me if I am wrong. When i floor it but then let go of the gas i feel this huge slip from the bottom of the car near the middle of the car under the automatic stick is. that about it for the cunfusion part please explain.in a different matter I have gone to different shops except rrm sorry guys and they ll say the same thing. That is that running a turbo from a talon 4g63 eclipse that pushes 11psi is fine to install on the us lancer with the fuel line and rod and injectore from a 4g63 engine. Now i ask you guys if they are somewhat correct or bs. most of the places I went to are Turbo specialist Like turbo City, Import Racing, Go Motors, and mitsu in whittier. All have the same connection of 4g63. Now of 4,3 said that a swap of a 4g63 is compatible with some minor modifications is this true. Whittie yes they are a dealer but the performance shop they actually know what they are talking about. So dont hate do to the fact that some of u had really bad prblems with dealers. No every little feedback would help. I have the turbo piping and everything just waittng to bend piping for cutom fiting. As well i know 11 is to much all set it to 6-9psi. Thank You.
try checking or changing plugs. most of the time stock plugs won't stand up to the heat from NOS. For the most part lancers don't run or idle to smoothe stock or not but I replaced my factory plugs with denso iridium plugs and it runs alot better. Beware these plugs are hard to get your hands on and they run about $60
ok i am a little bit confused charles1. now you are saying that you are running a 150 shot of nitrous or 150 horsepower total, or what. If you were running a 150shot then it is quite possible that you have a plug problem. you should be running a colder heat range plug with nitrous anyway.
as far as your tranny, do you have an AT or MT. one way to tell if you are having slipping problems is if you get on it and it has a delay or just doesn't go anywhere for a second or two. you can also see rpm surges in lower gears almost as if your tires are spinning but they won't be. also it could just be if you have an AT that it is having trouble keeping up with the power of the car.
now the part i am really confused about. these shops are telling you that you can run a 4g63 rod in your 4g94. i will have to raise the bull**** flag here. I am pretty sure that these rods are different lengths all together, not to mention why would you. if you want rods, either contact RPW, roadrace, or an aftermarket company directly and see what they can do for you. It is very possible to run 11psi on a lancer, but not in stock trim. you need more fuel, and at the very least new pistons and shot peened rods.
it is probably not impossible to put a 4g63 into a lancer but there are quite a few differences. there has been a lot of threads about this so I would do a search for it, but I seem to remember everyone saying that it is not worth it. if you go to RPW's website www.rpw.com.au they have a full list of engine swaps that are available for our cars and have them ranked on their worth. hope this helps.

hey thanks a ton man this helps some and 150 no2 not hp second at car.
for the fuel injectors and rods i wont buy them from rrm and from some big name brand shop i rather go to the dealer with whittier or private bussines up in glen oaks where they sell at whole cost not hatting or anything love rrm they know alot true but As a semi knolegable Accountant their profit margin is to big and the labor cost is rediculus So i do research before i spen 3 gs on something wher ei can get at go moters for 1 and im not hating agian. sorry if it comes out wrong. Just like everyone in here everyone goes an scout a daler for the best price. Im doing the same. Now to get back to the topic thanks for ur feedbakc it will help a ton
