How much more hp can you get from a rrm header from the stock?.. and would you recommend it? Basicaly is it worth it?

depends. if you want an RRM turbo, it'll be easier... but really you can use ANY header with a turbo, you'll just need to make it work. do some searches on headers... I have a Group buy going on right now for a Kamikaze header for only $260... that may be worth your attention.

Again, not always true. There ARE kits with CARB exemption. Not to mention it depends where you live in the US as well.

98% of Evom.net doesnt give a **** what they violate, and that is the spirit of tuning.

Back on topic. Anything is better than the factory manifold. The 1/2" runners and cat on the stock manifold are killers. My opinion for just about everything is get the most bang for your buck. There are 3 headers (4 if you count that OBX thing I see on ebay once in awhile) all three do an excellent job. Only one does an excelent job at an excellent price. Ask JWERNER about that one.

With the RRM header, that turbo kit isn't exactly going to be smog legal with that first quick light cat missing. airline has it right about the stock manifold/cat assembly in being a power leech. With the RRM shorty header, you're essentially creating a very long turbo manifold with the return pipe.

I have the header, it makes a significant increase , loud as f*&$, but worth it. Alone its not going to break your neck accelerating but you will feel it towards the top end. Use the Header, CAI and the ECU you deffinantly won't be driving the same lancer everyone else is!! Add the Throttle body, exhaust and test pipe, you'll be screaming past the majority of N/A 4 bangers out there, gaurenteed!! Neck brace optional. RRM turbo, Neck brace Recomended
