Hey guys new to forums here just got my 09 Wicked white lancer back in Aug and was wondering about mods... I'm looking for some that will not void my factory Warranty. Since i'm still in college its kinda important to me at the moment. Are the RRM SRI's ok? how about exhaust? Sorry if they seem like stupid questions but i am just making sure. Thanks in advance.

No SRI wont void the warranty, also unless its a custom catback it wont void the warranty however, if you take out the complete factory exhaust you might run into trouble. All axleback exhausts are legal.

Technically they cant void your warranty peroid, but no use in taking it to court

 

Thanks man, i think i may just go with the K&N drop in for now though, just to keep it on the safe side.

 

only do mods that cannot be seen from the ouside.mitsu is the worst for denying warr. claims because of mods.most of us have just decided the factory parts are inferior and do the mods and forget the factory warr.i am speaking for evo9 and previous.the x is a whole new animal and i would tread very lightly with mitsu. and maintain the factory warr.until more testing and verified mods come along.hope this helps.

 

Yea I'm not willing to mess around with it seeing how its a good warranty, but does anybody have any thoughts on exhaust? Some guy posted a Flowmaster 40 series on here a little bit ago and i like the sound. I'm looking for something thats not really loud and ricey something with a nice deep tone to it.
