New Fujita Intake Arriving Soon

So i called Fujita yesterday since ive been waiting so long for my new intake, and i talked to RT at fujita and he told me that they will be shipping them out after the first of the year and to expect them to be there in a few days.
I found another defect on my intake however, the nipple that sticks out for the hose to connect had a huge hole where they didn't weld the whole thing on. Sorry guys at fujita but you guys should of took more time and did more research on those 200$ intakes of yours. Anyways just letting all you guys who may not know that the new fujita intake should be arriving to you soon.

Yeah, i think that fujita is wayyy overrated and full of crap. I called them on the 31st of december, and they told me their new intakes would be sent out right after the first of january and i would get mine before february. Well, still havent got it and its almost february, such a bunch of bull****, I will definatly never buy another fujita product. Im calling them today and getting my money back, im tired of waiting on them to get things right when i can get a k&n intake, or something else and be assured that everythings gonna be ok

i went over this with a few engineers, there is a cheaper fix for the problem. If their third Intake fails again, I will fly out there and help them myself.

Another thing i dont understand is fujita is an intake company, and thats what they specialize in, so why is it so hard to make an intake that works properly? Only thing i can think of is that they lack the research and development. And im not hating on road race or anything but i would rather have something from k&n or injen.

I am prototyping a fix for the version 1 and version two. I wilil bring the white paper to Fujita if they refuse, or are uninterested, then I will work with a third party to get the ball rolling, I am assuming there are 500 units out there with 75% of them failing. The problem is with the super super sensitive MAF sensor, there is a trick originally thought up from a friend of mine, we put a crude one together and so far no code.

I cant say anymore beyond that right now.

it really isnt that hard to fix the intake problem. i made a custom SRI for my 08 lancer and ran it 6 months with no problem at all. only reason i stopped using it was i took it to dealer , put stock airbox on, and when i got it back i never bothered to reinstall the intake because i bought an 09 gts with an INjen CAI.

either way i wouldnt bother with the fujita sri. go with RRM or injen cai
