AEM CAI on CVT LANCER

ill post up more pics when i get a better camara instead of my cell phone all you need to make it possible is the injen oil relocator bracket for all you cvt guys out there and its perfect fitment too. looks like they touch but they actually have a good distance between the filter and cooler.

this is nice i like the setup of the AEM CAI vs.the Injen

the injen seems like it has more bends restricting the airflow

hey 09

This cai was originally designed for the 2.4l manual trans right? I was thinking about getting it and had a few questions. Can you install it all over the hood? without going underneath? is it well protected from water getting sucked in? and how loud is it? i dont really want rrm sai and i really like AEM. just wanted some info before i got it.

Thanks

I went with the Injen cause I wasn't comfortable with the MAF sensor so close to the filter, so if anyone needs the bracket hit me up, it's laying on my floor.

in rrm's website it does, you could only thing is you have to take off the drivers side wheel and pull back the fender lining, well im not too worried about water b/c im in socal, it is only loud when you start getting on the throttle/past 2.5 rpms so you really wont hear it on a daily drive, unless you want to and either kinda step on the gas or put the metal to the pedal.
