I'm thinking of getting the 1.8L 4g93 camshaft.
Is it going to be a good investment since I'm going Turbo soon, or should I just get a stage one cam?
Thanks

Get a 4G92 mivec one.

Here i got comparison between 4G93 and 4G92 manifolds

4G92 vs 4G93

4G92 vs 4G93

4G92
'
4G93

4G92 manifold a lot bigger plenum 60mm flange with massive runners compared to 4G93. Worthy mod and cheap so PM me haha

What do the runner's look like side by side? And do you happen to have a flow sheet on the 4g92 vs 4g93 or 4g94?

pick up the valve springs to, i believe they are a little better than the ones in the 4G94. I could be wrong on that though
Remember, though, that stiffer valve springs drain power and fuel economy. They do, however, protect the engine from valve float at very high RPMs, which is important on this interference motor. Basically, don't mess with the valve springs if you don't have to, it depends on what you're planning to do.

hmm i can take more pics later if you like when i find some time. flow sheet that i definately dont have to be honest all i know is its a lot bigger than the 4G94 or 4G93. Both plenum and runner size, in that note im not saying bigger flows better but i thought i would brong it up ehh cause it is quite large

What do you mean by valve float? Are you talking about valve overlap?
So if I get a 4g93 cam for my 4g94 will I need any supporting mods?

Block it off there a small hole inside around 1.5mm, what i did was used a flywheel bolt for temp sensor with metal putty and shaved it to blend to manifold shape. In the MAP sensor i filled with hi temp gasket maker 3 1/4 of the height and the rest i filled with metal putty and shaved again to blend with manifold shape

So im pretty sure the junk yard gave me the wrong intake and cam. They said the engine was a 1.8 but the manifold has the runner's look like the 4g93 pictured above but were the tb mounts look's like the 4g94 so is this a 1.5l intake?

Take a picture and show us, if it's a 1.5L I believe the differences are pretty much noticeable that you wouldn't need to ask. I'm not sure though. Pictures speak louder then you! Give us a picture

So does not look like the 4g93 intake above but it also does not look like a 4g94 intake? What is it?
