I have spent the last 2 hour's going threw old threads and some people say yes it work's other's say no it does not. What is it? I know it will fit onto the intake but what is it that i would have to change edit? or rewire.

 

You have to pick up a harness connector for the DSM TPS, cut off the Lancer TPS connector and splice it onto the Lancer engine harness. You also need to get the DSM ISC harness connector and splice that onto the Lancer engine harness. Then you need to adjust the TPS so the voltage is spec'd up to the ECU.

roomate is suppose to be getting me it. I am rebuilding a new head and port matching a 4g93 intake to head and then boring so that tb matches the intake. Im waiting on him to get me the tb and then i have to hit the flow bench.

 

let me know how it comes out my tb should be in this week. I was thinking of the 4g93 intake with 1g tb and save and try and do the dohc conversion.

Has anyone tried using the 2G DSM TPS instead of splicing?

 

The problem is in the TPS connector on the Lancer harness. The TPS connector on DSM and Mirage engine harnesses is the same. The Lancer has its own unique connector. Someone could just as easily pick up the connector and harness for the Mirage or DSM TPS and splice it into their harness for a seamless connection.

Well I got my 1g tb to work but my idle is about 1000 rpm's, I think the ISC is clogged or jammed. Other than that it runs great.
