4g64 question....

Ok, so my buddy has an old mitsubishi mighty max with the 4g64 in it, wiring harness and ecu. He's going to sell it to me for 150 bucks, but what I need to know is will it even work? I know I'd have to get rid of the fan, and get the correct mounts. Also, its an obd1...

Is this even worth it? will it work?

Thanks in advance.

no, it's not worth it. You need to read the sticky that is on top of this page.

the guy in the thread said he hit 167whp before tuning (with a few bolt ons)...if you only gotta spend $150 to get all the stuff and the time, it could be since the after market is a bit better...

Engine is the wrong orientation in a Mighty Max for an easy swap.
