1/4 mile time attack!
ah i built the whole bottom end and built the top end. the whole 9 yards and i did all the motor work on it. after i did all that i invested in a evo 8 ems and had it tuned for 20lbs of boost made 339whp. now with the new cam and gear and maybe a divorced 02 housing we are shooting for around 380whp and over 300ftlbs of torque. whe i finally get it to the track it will take a little bit to get it dialed in where we want it and traction is another big issue. if you want i can make a whole page on how i did the build and so forth
Automatic... t3/t4 5 psi.. (spiking 9psi in 2nd gear)
tonight.. ran a 13.9 with a 1.7 60foot..
thats with slicks..
and with street tires
i ran a 14.2 and a 1.9 60 foot. fastest ever on street tires was a 14.09 and a 2.0 60 foot.. but i think it was spiking 10-12psi all the way threw the 1320.. not sure though..
alot of issues with my setup, but its getting faster and faster every week, even at 5psi, its got some trq behind it.. (5psi tune is 197hp/180trq, and trq is still climbing at 6k rpms)
trans is starting to go also after 6 months of abuse with my turbo setup. slips hard from 3rd to 4th once the tranny is hot..
tonight.. ran a 13.9 with a 1.7 60foot..

i ran a 14.2 and a 1.9 60 foot. fastest ever on street tires was a 14.09 and a 2.0 60 foot.. but i think it was spiking 10-12psi all the way threw the 1320.. not sure though..

Right now i have a evo 9 turbo with the 10.5 hotside im only running 10lbs of boost because i am waiting for the cam. i have pretty sticky strret tires but they are not gonna be enough when i get it finally tuned. so slicks are definetly gonna have to be put on the car if i plan do do a few runs with it
Im not usiong a maf sensor with the aem ems you use speed density. which with speed density you use a map sensor (not your stock one) with the aem map sensor you have different bar options depending on how much boost you are gonna run. on my car i have a 3 bar which handles up to i beleive 40lbs of boost. you also need a ait (air intake temp sensor) which that is placed closest to the throttle body, in your intercooler piping. as for the throttle body its just a stock throttle body but it has been bored out.

^ crap i dont remember anymore. but i remember trapping 101 and 103 on my 14.00 passes back to back on street tires.. the 13.9 im sure was almost identical.. 1/8 miles speed i never really pay attention to because my top end is really where the power is.. ill see if i can go find a slip out of my car tomorrow..
ill be at MMP (montgomery dragway, alabama) on friday @ 6 with a buncha evo guys driving down together that i know.. ill make 1 or 2 moderate passes just to get a new slip since mine keep blowing out the windows on the drive home.. HAHAHA
in about a month(after i pay my tuition next week) ill be aiming for 13flats with slicks at 14psi

nice times guys! i ran a 15.2@92mph with a non intercooled t28 setup here in vegas where the elevation is around 4000 ft. my clutch was slipping and i had crappy tires. i now have a test pipe, greddy ebc set at 7psi, lightweight flywheel and a stage 4 clutch (overkill but was alot cheaper than a stage 2 or stage 3). im hoping to be around mid 14's after the addition of an intercooler and some tuning!

14,3 on 12psi, in Venezuela, with a bbGT28, street tires, no glue on track (tracks here suck, and the driver does too..)
