wow.. people running higher boost and not seeing much differenc ein track times.. def need some slicks on that car if theres no dht on the track, nothing going to keep it hooked up.

 

some pritty quick lancers out there. My wifes car runs consistant 15 @90-91 mph. Has a ES auto. I did the mods. My RA is alot faster. but this is a lancer forum. GoodJob guys. keep modding and bring up the lancers.

 

Don't forget to check the registry...Alot of my old times and mods are listed there along with some of the other ole timers.

Most of that was done before the advent of all the new tuning possibilities so with that on top of our mods most should be able to better our times.

on friday... i did a 13.8 and a 13.9 both @ 108mph.. was preloading the chassis only(automatic), and ididnt do a nutrual slames all night.. i was building.. 4-5psi at the line, and holding 5-7psi threwout the quarter..

 

so what do u guys think a 4g64 in a lancer would run.

 

well a 4g64? stock one.. 15s.. a 4g63 from an evo.. as fwd.. some smal tinkering to make 300-320 hp.. high 12s with slicks

all 3 of my buddies 280-340hp civics all run 12.6-13.0..
at 450hp u should be able to do a 11second run. and 600hp into the 10s..

that all depends on your powerband, and who is driving.. but good slicks are the key to getting threw the 300' mark in a hurry.

 

So if somebody swapped a 4g64 into their lancer, with no other mods, u think it would hit 15s ?! That would be awesome because most swapped civics run 15s. Or new si's run 15s.

 

its 160hp motor with alot more trq then a honda motor.... i dont see why a high 15 isnt possible.

 

A 15 second lancer would make me so happy. I could finally hang w these si's and integras. What about with some bolt ons , u think one could break into the 14s

well guys i just purchased a brand new act extreme 4 puck clutch new flywheel surface a kaaz limited slip dif and gonna send my trans out to team rip to have the stage 2 trans rebuild done to it and get some new drag tires. hopefully than i will be able to hook up with 19-20lbs of boost. i will keep you guys posted unfortuanetly i am in vermont so their is snow here until like april and the tracks done open until may so it will be a little while. hopefully looking to dip into the 12s.
