Crap. Thats base. Id say im probably 5-10 under stock hp. 130k miles, no leaks, burns, overheating, no problems at all.
Wiki says stock crank is 120hp 130 ftlb torque

A dyno is a tool, you could run the same car on two different dynos and get very different numbers.

Hello,

So are yall basically saying its either go turbo or go home? I ask as seems pretty pointless to spend a grand on stuff like exhausr and intake to only see 10hp gains.

Is it better to do mods like breaks rotors, pads, struts and springs (or coil overs) , strut bars so that you handle and stop good and just throw a exhaust tip on for looks untill you decidfe to go turbo?

I just asking these questions as can see no point in spending 1000 bucks just to gain 10hp.

To be honest I see no point in spending 4grand on a turbo either, because if have a turbo you probally have rims, etc. Maybe beter to just sell car, add that money with proceeds and buy a used evo.

Justin

A turbo is the best mod you can do for power in terms of bang for the buck.

Turbo is the mod to “wake" up our engine but you could get more then 10 hp just depends on your car. As for me I got a lot from my exhaust because the previous owner made his own exhaust and let’s say a 6 year old with a welder could have done better. I got a muffler/tip for 170 (Borla Turbo). Then a shop and I installed custom bent tubing 50. And high flow cat 50. They gave me old cat back and I sold for +100 so exhaust was 170. As for intake I will be able to give more information on that tomorrow as I get flow bench time finally. Have a stock 93 just opened up tb point to match the 94 tb and a stock 94 intake I will flow to see what is better. But saying the 93 is better that its 25$ or less at a local junkyard. So you have spent what say 225. You got another 700$ to spend. You could get an rpw cam and spring's p&p your head when you do the swap and match the intake to it. And with that you would get over 10hp. Or if you don’t want to remove the head a Fidanza Flywheel and maybe a larger TB from RPW or Boomba and have it rev. But that's just my .02

The main question I find myself asking is, will I notice a differance in my car after g93 intake w/ port, tb w/ bore, cam, exhaust, piggy, and tune. Would it be substantial enough to feel.

Maybe, maybe not. The car will definitely be louder and there should be some power increase but it's hard to say whether you'll notice it.

Skrew it. I've got 8 more months left til I hold the title. I've allways wanted a Toyota Celica all-trac. I may try to trade it for one. Im sick of my slow *** eco cars.

you're throwing away your money if you want to boost your G94. Not the best platform in the world.
I'd say save another grand ant swap a G64 into it

I was thinking about performance parts, but on a 03 ES I figured I, personally, would reather put it into making it look/sound better.
Tinted
subs, deck, speakers, amp
new floor mats (Evo RS ones haha )
K&N intake
and lots of cleaning supplies, meguires wash wax all that jazz to make it stay pretty

but that is just me

Wow i had to re read what he said like 6 times. People boost what they have and they will build what they have. Really no engine is perfect all have issues. The 94 is not the best platform but people have made 600-700 with it i hear. Not here is the US but that's boosted and NO2.

I'll believe it when it's actually confirmed.
