APEXi N1?

I was cruising the Summit catalog and saw a universal APEXi N1 muffler and my first thought was "would this fit on my car?". I'm wondering about if it would work with the stock hangers. Any thoughts?

The hangers are on the muffler. When you take the muffler off you'll take the hangers off.

Will you be able to fit it to your piping? Sure...but you may as well just get a custom cat-back made so that you can swap back if you want. It won't cost that much more either. You'll need new hangers made though if you don't want it moving around.

Oh. Heh. Oops. On my Camaro, the mufflers have no hangers and are held on with hangers on the car. I guess I made the mistake of assuming that this was universal. :smacks forehead:

It's universal in that it's just a plain muffler with no attachments, so you can have it welded to any exhaust. If you don't put hangers on it then it's gonna move around.

Ah. OK. I kinda figured that was how it is, but after seeing the Camaro hangers, I wasn't sure. I suppose I should've just laid under the car and found out myself. Thanks.
