I was thinking of doing the same thing just for looks till a nice turbo kit comes out for the cvt in a year or so. I just love the look(then it becomes a performance upgrade). but if you go with 2.5 piping on a custom exhaust with a ra dual muffler wouldnt that help hp a lil?

i think its kinda stupid to have a ralliart exhaust when your car isnt a ralliart, its just stupid how people makes their lancers look like the evos or the ralliarts. if you're a real lancer owner, you should just keep it the way it is and mod it like its supposed to be modded

........ Im not trying to make it look like a Ralliart or EVO... I love the dual exhaust look. Finishes the car imho. Plus in my case the exhaust does play a role down the road. Id just be getting it out of the way early. And dont hate on the people who want it anyway. At least they arent putting stupid R34 or whatever bumpers on the cars. now thats something to frown upon.

how about you guys just stop trying to be like the evo x and the ralliart, when you put in a turbo and 2.5 custom exhaust pipe, its just going to look nice i'll give it that, but when you go to shows, your *** will get clowned on, keep the lancer the way it is, all it needs is an exhaust, wheels, carbon fiber front lip kit, and some coilovers, pay attention to what the car really is, you're still not a real lancer tuner if you try to make it look and sound like the evo x and the ralliart
You are losing a lot of back pressure with that set up! Not enough power coming from your motor to require a dual exhaust. If you are planning on throwing a turbo on then that is different. Then again, if that is the case, why wouldn't you just have bought a Ralliart in the first place and saved most, gotten it all under warranty, and been stock?

Sigh.... I see the 2.4 as potential. You would have said the same stuff to the OZ and RA owners back when their cars were new wouldn't you?!
Plus why would I go trade in my car for a Ralliart and end up upsidedown on the payments.
For the money I would end up paying I could make my car faster than the RA... So not worth and I would have something different and I wouldn't give a S*** about negative criticism

Just because someone wants to put dual exhaust on their lancer does not mean they are trying to be like the evo or ralliart, they are just trying to be different.
if you want dual exhaust I say do a custom job like the one that evosoul did a while back if you search you will find the thread. Going with the ralliart exhaust yes you will loose a lot of backpressure since the pipes are larger, but if you keep the pipes the same size the loss should be minimal to none.
thats my 2 cents and yes I am the one who posted the video I just did it because some people were asking a while back and I for one hand never seen it done with the ralliart exhaust.
