I had a full eclipse here for $650. I had acutally talked him down to $400 but let it go, because I was going to sell my car. In the end, I did neither, and I hate it

if you feel pretty confident that the guy is straight up about the wreck cracking the head, then maybe it is the perfect time to do the DOHC swap as well. it really isnt that hard, the biggest issue is the CAS. if you happen to do that route (getting the whole spyder), please pm me, there are a few things i wouldnt mind picking up.

If I'm not mistaken all the 00+ Spyder's are GT. Which is a V6 and not the G64

wow give me some tips maybe i can talk him down even more. im probably picking it up on friday.
i would do the head swap if it didnt cost so much for a decent evo8 head! i want a decent NA setup for now, maybe 14 second quarter miles and i think its possible with a few boltons. once i do this g64 swap im gonna work on my suspension, then either boost, or head swap.
heres a pic, let me know what you think

Honestly...I never trust cars that have een in a frontt end crash for a parts car. At least where the motor is concerned

That makes Sense but if the motor is no good I can still part out the interior and whatnot, and I'll have everythng else I need, plus I can use the motor for a core exchange on another motor

well, the car is out of town , im planning on picking it up this weekend. he says the head is cracked on the front drivers side, and it is clearly visible. but everything else works, except the radiator of course.
