Talking my NEW custom exhaust!!!

Hey guys, just got back from a local muffler shop that does real good work and here is the result!

tell me what you think! its 3" all the way back, but pressure bent, so there is some restriction for a bit of back pressure still. muffler is a Megan racing 3" inlet, 4" tip. it sounds AWESOME!!!!

90 for the muffler, 160 to get it all fully installed.

$250 for a full downpipe back 3" exhaust aint bad!

I'm glad to see that you went with the 3" instead of the 2.5".

yeah after much deliberation, i figured 3", even on only 8lbs of boost, would be the best thing to go with.

Oh ok, so you kept the xtremeboost downpipe. That price is awsome. Let me know where they are located allright, I might need to get that done as well. You got rid of the cat converter right?

lol they are in daytona beach, if you want to travel that far. I know a good place in palm bay, but they wanted over $300 when i asked them for a quote. I guess the gas money you spend is less than what you would save though so it could be worth it haha. and no cat or resonators also, since you want to go turbo, you DEFINITELY need to remove the cat or replace it with a better one, because the stock one cant handle the new temps and conditions of a turbo. it will last for a while on the turbo, but I suggest taking it off asap, especially before you get tuned. what are you doing this weekend? there is a tuning day in west palm on saturday that im going to, want to hitch a ride or something??

lol we call it "race car tilt" but it makes it so there are less bends in the piping, for more power!

looks ok i agree with the tilt comment..but whatever is your style.. and dosent sound bad for 90 bucks..but if i were you later in the future upgrade to an HKS exhaust.. a little more quiet but the tone is has so much better quality than any other mufflers out there..worth every penny

yeah i REALLY want an HKS, but they are so expensive, at least for me right now they are. but the good thing, when/if i do switch mufflers, the piping is already there!!
