OBX 4-2-1 vs. OBX 4-1 headers

Just wanted to know if there is much of a difference between these headers and if one is preferred over the other for durability/ performance. Are the welds ok on the 4-1?

Thanks- Justin

4-1 is high end power. 4-2-1 is mid-high range power. So I would prefer the 4-2-1. Also, the welds are fine, as long as you dont heat wrap them lol. Bad times with that and had to have mine rewelded.

Ok, and do both of them delete both cats?

And if so is there a set of headers that will only delete the first cat?

From personal experience obx products are crap and Will fail in time. do a google search to learn more, lots of documented info on the net about these things cracking, breaking ect..

I wouldn't recommend it.

They are fine from my experience as long as you dont wrap them. I wouldnt trust any of their products for turbo, but they are fine for NA. And no, they only delete one cat, not both.

If i were you, I'd stay away from them. The downpipe is junk. And they're fine as long as you don't wrap them, i did that and cracked all the welds. The downpipe is only 1-7/8 inch, not much bigger than stock.
