i assummed the ralliarts engine is better than the oz cause it has a turbo, plus the two cars are mirror image od eagh other other than the engne so i figure it would be easy

I mean, technically it can be swapped into the OZ, but it is not a direct swap.

Do you enjoy wires? You're going to have to learn to enjoy them to wire up Mivec. If I'm not mistaken it's basically the same as a 4G64 (block and bolt up wise) it's the Mivec that changes the WHOLE thing.

wait....so your saying that the owners left a turbo'd ralliart? and if they are a mirror image, why not just swap whatever interior/exterior mods to the ralliart? itll be a whoooole lot easier

He may not have the title. What he is basically proposing is stealing the ralliart from his neighbor.

If he has access to the engine, he prolly has access to the harness and the ecu.
Bring in the engine, bring in the harness, bring in the ecu.
What's the wiring you're talking about?

In regards to having to run the new wiring harness. It's a pain.

Same annoying matter with swapping a VTEC into a non VTEC civic

+10^^ I would ask some of the neighbors still there I am sure someone knows them well enough you could get a phone number or something? If you can get a hold of them and they dont want it I vote for swapping all of your parts to that car (unless its wrecked or something). The ralliart is all around better made platform for performance then the base lancers.

Long story short I once bought an old 1982 celica supra (first car I ever bought actually) , the seller was my long time friends father, did not have the title but "said he would get it asap" Well I find out it wasnt even in his name and all I had was an old ( I mean really old) insurance card left in the car. I was able to track the seller down using that card (dudes wife had a common name spelled very uncommon) and internet yellow pages in WOODSTOCK GEORGIA!!!! keep in mind I live on the west coast in washington state and bought the vehicle up right past seattle and had no idea where to look. Got a number and.. well what do you say to someone in that situation I asked him point blank if he used to own a 82 supra and lived in lynnwood and he said YES haha I almost fell over. Ok so wasnt like real short story but ya.
