oh ya, i drive a ES and my muffler does not hang low at all.. if yours hangs low whoever installed it didnt do the best job thy could of. and if you installed it, sorry but ... it sohuldnt hang low if u do it right.

The only reason pisetup mentioned an exhaust hanging to low is that all the current exhausts were designed for the clearances of the rear bumper with lip kit: OZ. When you have one custom made, the installer will situate the the piping to fit within the bumper notch without the lip.

Nice~perfect piping and no 4" huge butthole..
anyone know if it's a straight cut ti[ or angled cut?
not that I really care about it, but I just prefer the look of an angled cut tip...

redoz... try adding in a test pipe if you dont have one and yet getting yourself some new header(s) while your at it. That should liven up your muffler and make it sound louder while giving you those few extra HP you need and want

I got to hear one with just a header to a test pipe, and nothing after that. It was hideously loud, and the owner complained about having no pickup at all. But it was loud. We were at an autocross race, and he was getting stares

there was a post on here a while back about someone buying a magnaflow muffler and resonator, then having a shop put it together with 2.25 piping and it cost right around 300... figure, take out teh resonator and go straight pipe there, probably under 300 and would do just the same as the expensive RMR/GReddy etc... I believe I have the specs from it at home somewhere, i can post later if anyone wants taht instead of taking out a loan for an exhaust... there were sound clips, no rice, little rumble during idle and sounded a little louder than an open element intake under WOT...overall sounded like what most people want their exhaust to be!
