would there be any gains from culling the silencer off the intake snorkel? ive covered the holes onthe underneth of the snorkel and felt i little more throttle response ,even my wife thinks so im talking about this thing

Hi... If you are interested in the intake from the Ralliart (doesn't have the silencer and its has a much wider tube), I have one I can sell to you. I had removed the stock one and replaced it with this - didn't really seem louder (but that is probably because I also have an exhaust) and throttle response did seem to improve a little (good complement to K&N filter). Good way to go if you don't want to go with a CAI.

I'm going to get an Injen CAI so I figure might as well look to get rid of this.
