intake filter???

hey, just bought the k&n kit and cleaning out was easy, and man did i have a DIRTY filter. all i had to do was sweep off the excess dirt and dust, spray on cleaner, let sit for 10 minutes, wash off INSIDE out, let dry, took hours for me, spray on oil, all done. looks brand new, but my injen came with a blue colored filter and the oil made it red

Yeah, I have a blue Injen filter aswell and Ill probably be getting it cleaned out next weekend with K&N's recharge kit. blue and red hmm... is your filter purple now?

EDIT:Yes I know this post was from a year ago.
