Just as a general question, you guys have had these parts part out for well over a year now, why so long before Buschur reps decided to hawk their wares on this site? Great stuff, loving the downpipe.

The reason is just because we didn't want you guys to forget about the parts that we sell for the regular lancer so we just wanted to give a little refresher to make sure everyone is aware that we still have these. and to try to market more parts for everyone. And also we do do other cars besides the Eclipse. Including the Eagle Talon, Plymouth Laser,Mitusbishi Lancer, Mitsubishi Evolution 8, Subaru WRX , and the Dodge Neon SRT-4. Please if you guys have any questions feel free to contact me here at the shop by phone at 440-839-1900, or by email at jarrod@buschurracing.com. thanks

When someone at Buschur gets a chance, could we get a pic of the high flow cat you sell for the OZ? Is it just a straight pipe or is it more of an actual cat with higher air flow?

"Buschur Racing has also prototyped a test pipe for track and off-road use. The unit is designed to occupy the OEM catalytic converter dimensions, retaining the "factory look" heat-shield. The pipe is MIG/TIG welded for structural durability and includes all the necessary mounting hardware and gaskets, and connects to both factory and aftermarket exhaust systems."

To easy.

Well, I got my emissions question answered through email, but Pjal's pic raises a new question - is the O2 sensor bung wonderfully hidden in that pic or is it non-existent?

Old thread...but I want to know if you can pass CALIFORNIA emission test with Buschur downpipe and high flow cat?
We all know that CA has the highest standard

I asked if it would pass Ohio (home state to both me and Buschur Racing), and they said "maybe". So going off that, I think you'd probably get the same answer.

Apparently, you have no idea what naturally aspirated horsies cost on low output motors.

That's 3 DYNO PROVEN horsepower. Although I love my RRM intake (old skool, pre heat shield) I don't have any dyno sheets to tell me what kind of jump to look for. And back then, I paid 100 bucks for a MAS adapter and filter.

If you want the most go for the least flow, turbo is the only route. For the weekend warrior, who works for a living or goes to school, it might not be possible to pay for a turbo, so we stay N/A.

Show me a less expensive short ram with better PROVEN gains, and I may start to agree with you. (Remember, this intake had been tested INDEPENDENTLY. Meaning the manufactuer didn't make **** up, like AEM likes to do.)

Could be worse - AEM's dyno notes only show a 3.6 hp increase on their $305 (retail) CAI.
